Adelabu’s Empowerment Programme: A Testament to Genuine Leadership, Compassion—Ibadan North East Reconciliation Movt

The Adelabu Reconciliation Movement, Ibadan North East LG chapter, has commended the Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu (CON), for his visionary leadership and selfless commitment to the welfare of the people through his ongoing empowerment programme targeting market men and women, artisans, farmers, students, professionals, party faithful, youths, and other segments of society.
In a statement signed by the leadership of the Movement at today’s meeting, the group described Chief Adelabu’s empowerment initiative as “a practical demonstration of people-oriented leadership and a sincere commitment to human and economic development.”
The statement reads in part, “Chief Adelabu has once again proven that leadership is not about occupying political office, but about touching lives, building people, and empowering communities.

His ongoing empowerment programme cuts across all social and economic groups, from market traders and artisans to students, farmers, and professionals, ensuring that every hard-working citizen feels the impact of progress.

The Movement further noted that Chief Adelabu’s initiative reflects his deep understanding of the current economic realities and his desire to uplift the people of Oyo State through meaningful interventions rather than political propaganda.
“At a time when many politicians are only heard during election seasons, Chief Adelabu continues to show consistency, compassion, and courage.
His empowerment drive has restored hope, strengthened livelihoods, and rekindled the belief that politics can truly serve the people,” the statement added.
The group also lauded Chief Adelabu for extending the gesture to the APC family, describing his leadership as “a unifying force that inspires reconciliation, teamwork and renewed faith in the party’s future.
From the grassroots to the urban centres, people are testifying to the impact of Chief Adelabu’s vision.
He is building bridges across divides and proving that inclusive governance and empowerment are the keys to sustainable progress,” the statement said.
While urging other political aspirants in Oyo State to emulate Adelabu’s selfless example, the Adelabu Reconciliation Movement reaffirmed its total support for the minister’s leadership and development agenda.
“Oyo State is blessed to have a leader like Chief Adebayo Adelabu – focused, compassionate, and proactive.
We stand firmly behind his vision and pray for greater strength and success as he continues to empower lives and transform communities,” the statement concluded.
