Agbaakin Niyi Adeagbo Advocates for Peace, Unity as Muslims Celebrate Eid-el-Fitr 2025

As Muslims around the world celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, marking the end of Ramadan, former Chairman of Itesiwaju Local Government Area (LGA), Agbaakin Niyi Adeagbo, has called on Nigerians to embrace peace, unity, and national progress.

In his goodwill message, Adeagbo reflected on the essence of Ramadan, emphasising the values of piety, self-discipline, love, and service to humanity. He urged Nigerians to uphold these virtues in their daily lives, fostering harmony and compassion within their communities.

Adeagbo also offered prayers for divine wisdom and guidance for those in leadership, particularly those from the Okeogun region and Oyo State, expressing hope for renewed progress and prosperity in Nigeria.

While encouraging Muslims to express gratitude for the blessings of Ramadan, Adeagbo emphasised the importance of patience, kindness, and communal solidarity. He prayed that Allah accepts the fasts, prayers, and good deeds of the faithful, granting them more opportunities to witness future Ramadans in good health and abundant blessings.

Adeagbo’s goodwill message reads:”Eid Mubarak to the great people of Nigeria, Oyo State, Okeogun, and Itesiwaju!

As we conclude the holy month of Ramadan, let us carry forward its lessons of faith, self-discipline, and care for one another. May we continue to foster peace, unity, and compassion in our communities.

“To our leaders in government, may Allah grant you wisdom and strength to guide our people toward renewed hope, progress, and prosperity. To our Muslim brothers and sisters, may Allah accept our fasts, prayers, and good deeds, and may we celebrate many more Ramadans in good health and divine favour.

“May Almighty Allah bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the great people of Oyo State, the good people of Okeogun, and the exceptional, great people of Itesiwaju.”
