In his release, he celebrated the hard work and dedication of the Nigerian workers and also praised their resilience even in the face of inherent challenges.
“I want to celebrate the Nigerian workers. Their dedication to duty is worth the commendation, and the resilience they continue to show in the face of mounting challenges is one that truly inspires. As a nation, our workers are the bedrock of the greatness we seek and relentlessly pursue.”
The Oyo APC chieftain urged the federal government and other critical stakeholders to expedite the issue of the new minimum wage, which he described as long overdue.
“I must commend the incumbent government of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR), for his efforts at bettering the lot of workers. We have seen it with the introduction of the wage award, but I want to urge all critical stakeholders to work expeditiously on the new minimum wage, which would greatly improve the lives of workers in the face of current economic realities.”
