The Pioneer Chairman of Aare Latosa Local Council Development Area(LCDA) in Oyo-State, Bashorun Adekunle Oladeji popularly known as OMOBAO has berated the mischief-makers peddling a rumours against former First Lady of the state, Chief(Dr) Florence Ajimobi that she is making move to hinder one Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu’s party chairmanship aspiration of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the State.
The Oil and Gas Magnate, Bashorun Oladeji maintained that “Governor Ajimobi lives on. He described the late governor’s legacies as immortal and said that they are too strong to be rubbished by any ingrates.
Oladeji further carpeted the rumourmongers and likened them to mere ranters and frustrated politicians.
In his words;”There’s no doubt, late Governor Abiola Ajimobi, selflessly, served our dear Oyo State for good eight years and he broke the jinx of a governor not to have served two terms in the history of the state. This achievement nicknamed him ‘Mr. Koseleri’.
“It seems some people who benefitted immensely from ‘Ajimobi Political Dynasty’ have forgotten so soon that the man brought them out, from nothing to something that they are bragging about today”, he lamented.
“Chief Mrs Florence Ajimobi is too refined than someone that any rumour monger can bring into disrepute. She has been holding tight to the good legacies of her darling husband. She has never forsaken the people who were there through the thick and thin. Yes, politics is all about interest and never to create or make permanent enemies. If she has interest in any particular aspirant to lead our great Party, APC as the Chairman, the virtuous woman has every right to support whoever she so desires. That doesn’t mean she detests others. Mrs Ajimobi is like a mother to all and even in the real family settings, there will always be a preferred and favourite child”, Oladeji stated.
“Those who wined and dined with Ajimobi’s family while the Patriarch was on earth, should not now turn themselves to gods after the demise of Mr. Koseleri. He didn’t die but he lives on. I will implore the concerned person(s) to watch the way he, or they, run(s) mouth against the Matriarch of Ajimobi. Congress will come and go, our dear APC will remain and continue to wax stronger towards winning back it’s seat in the state”, he fumed.
“I benefitted and drank from the political well of my Father, Leader and Boss, Senator Abiola Ajimobi and I will never use left hand to describe the family. Let’s give honour to whom honour is due,’Florry kii se eni arifin rara o’, Bashorun Oladeji warned.
“APC is one, and I remain committed to its progress. On Ajimobi’s side I stand”, he declared.
