Ajimobi’s G-68 female councillors congratulate Dr Florence Ajimobi over ambassadorial nomination
The forum of all female councillors elected during the administration of the late Governor Abiola Ajimobi, known as the female councillors G-68, has congratulated the former First Lady of Oyo State, Chief (Dr) Florence Ajimobi, on her ambassadorial nomination by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a congratulatory message jointly signed by Honourable Odunola Ogundepo and Hon. Jumoke Tawakalt Fakayode, described Dr Ajimobi as a worthy benefactor, an exemplary mentor and a kind mother.

“Ma, we heartily celebrate Your Excellency, and we appreciate your support always, especially your influential support and love for women, which encourages female participation in politics.

We passionately recall you insisted that two women should be given slots in each local government to contest as councillors in Oyo state during the administration of our legendary leader, Sen. Abiola Ajimobi, a gesture that was never done anywhere in the country.
“We laud your involvement in empowering women staffers of the governments and promotion of ICT skills for them.
“We appreciate several other skill acquisition programmes to equip women, such as soap making, tie and dye, and dressmaking, among others, as the First Lady of Oyo State then.
“We commend Your Excellency’s ABC medical outreach in all the 33 local government areas of Oyo State.
Indeed, your pro-people efforts and human capital developmental agenda are too numerous to be mentioned, and they are comprehensively appreciated. You’re a blessing to humanity, and we celebrate you and your success stories always. Once again, congratulations on your ambassadorial list and more blessings.
