Akala At 70 : Open Salawu Rekindles Old Memories , Lauds His Virtues, Congratulates Him

The Saraki Adini of Ogbomosho and APC Chieftain , Engr. Muftau Open Salawu has rekindled his nostalgic experiences with the former governor of Oyo-State , Otunba Christopher Adebayo Alao-Akala and he also congratulated him on his 70th birthday .

“I first met His Excellency , Otunba Christopher Alao Akala on 26th of December, 1986 at Independence Hotel in Ogbomosho. He was in the company of Senator Brimo then Col. Brimo. Very adorable and handsome man, if you have the privilege of knowing him then you will agreed with me that you can’t ignore him. I wonder how his female contemporaries would have been feeling then, anyway he made the right choice” , Open Salawu stated .

“We are celebrating him today not only because he his an extraordinary man but also because God shows His presence in his life. He is a man of many parts, perhaps , the most experienced public servant that has governed Oyo state. From teaching in school to a police officer, chairman of local government to deputy governor and later became the Executive Governor of Oyo state between 2007 to 2011”, Waziri Jari Nupe affirmed.

“He keeps contacts and he appreciates and acknowledges good deeds. He reciprocates respect and he can be mean if he has to do so . He loves being at home among his people”, Salawu said .

“His love for Ogbomosho is second to none and he always demonstrates that. Today as we celebrate your 70th birthday , I joined many of your well wishers all over the world to pray for you and ask God to make the remaining years you will spend to be more pleasant and to be to the glory of God.
The Septuagenarian!, with each new year comes another wrinkle. Invaluable wishes to a man who has so many wrinkles he can donate. Happy Birthday Sir. We love you”, Engr. Muftau prayed .
