The Association of local government of Nigeria(ALGON ) in Oyo State has felicitated with former Oyo State governor and elder statesman, Otunba Christopher Adebayo Alao Akala, as he celebrates his 70th birthday today , June 3, 2020.
The association chairman , Prince Ayodeji Abass-Aleshinloye in a statement signed, described Alao Akala as a quintessential administrator and consummate political leader with an exemplary leadership style.
He commended the former governor for his strong convictions and unwavering commitment to humanity.
“Your life has been that of service to the people of Oyo and the nation and we can’t thank you enough for your great deeds,” the statement said.
Aleshinloye also urged the APC reconciliation committee Chairman, Otunba Akala to be committed and give his best in the assignment considering its importance to propose mechanisms for resolving internal crises and other relevant issues that would help in genuine reconciliation efforts.
“As you mark 70th birthday, we celebrate you and all that you have accomplished through your humble beginnings to your illustrious career as a top notch police officer ; former governor of Oyo, and political leader of the APC,” he added.
