Akande-Sadipe Mourns Hon Olaide Akinremi

Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Ethics and Privileges, Rt. Hon. Tolulope Akande-Sadipe, Mourns the Passing of Hon. Olaide Adewale Akinremi

It is with profound sadness that I express my heartfelt condolences to the family of my colleague and brother, Hon. Olaide Adewale Akinremi, and the people of Ibadan North Federal Constituency of Oyo State who he represented at the House of Representatives.

Hon. Akinremi, fondly known as Jagaban, passed away today July 10th 2024, in Abuja,  after a brief illness. This sudden loss has left us all deeply heartbroken. I am in shock as there was no indication of this when we whatsapp chatted this past Saturday.

Jagaban was a beloved and admired colleague, known for his unwavering dedication to his constituency and the broader development of Oyo State. His passion for public service and his commitment to the well-being of his constituents was inspiring. His absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing and working with him.

As we mourn his passing, we remember and celebrate the remarkable contributions he made during his time with us. Jagaban’s legacy of service and love for his community will continue to inspire us.

May his soul rest in perfect peace.”Sun re o, Jagaban.”

Signed:

Rt. Hon. Tolulope Akande-Sadipe,
Chairman, House Committee on Ethics and Privileges.
