Akande-Sadipe Mourns Late Oyo APC Chairman, Barr Isaac Omodewu

The Chairman of the House Committee on Ethics and Privileges and Member representing Oluyole Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Tolulope Akande-Sadipe, has expressed sadness over the sudden passing of Barrister Isaac Omodewu, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State.

Akande-Sadipe extended her deepest condolences to Omodewu’s family, friends, and everyone who knew him.”My thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones during this difficult time. May God give them the strength to bear this great loss.”

In a heartfelt statement, Akande-Sadipe described Barr. Omodewu as a man of great courage and dedication, who was deeply committed to the people of Oyo State, his beloved APC and his ideals of equity and unity.

Sadipe acknowledged his significant role as a true grassroots politician, noting that he was always deeply connected with his community. Which played out heavily in the decision by the Late Gov. Abiola Ajimobi to locate Allied Distilleries an investor in the states, major business arm in Otu his home town.

Sadipe added that Barrister Omodewu was a true brother and patriot. His contributions to the party and his strong commitment to Oyo State will never be forgotten.”He was always ready to help others, and his big heart touched many lives.

“Barrister Omodewu valued integrity and I thank God that I had the honour of knowing not only as a political ally but as a genuine friend” Akande-Sadipe stated. “We reached out to each other frequently, we spoke last on the 4th of August, and then worrisome silence, unreturned calls, and unanswered messages. Concerned I even called and texted him yesterday. Only to wake up to the news of his passing on to glory. It breaks my heart to realize that our last conversation though cordial as always, was the last. Adieu, rest in peace Chairman of Chairmen”

Barrister Omodewu’s sudden departure has left a significant void in the hearts of those who knew him and in the political landscape of Oyo State. His legacy of service and dedication will always be a point of reference for years to come.
