Aleshinloye Mourns Oyo Ex-SSG, Chief Michael Koleoso, Describes Late Statesman As True Nationalist
A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prince Ayodeji Abass-Aleshinloye MDII, has received with immense sadness and a feeling of great national loss the news of the passing away of the former national chairman of the defunct Alliance for Democracy (AD) and former Secretary to the Oyo State Government, Chief Michael Koleoso.
In a statement released through his media office, Prince Aleshinloye described the death as a devastating loss to the people of Oyo State in particular and the nation in general. The former Algon Chairman described the late Chief Koleoso as a nationalist who lived a purposeful life of dedication to the cause of the nation’s unity and a highly resourceful politician who demonstrated great love and passion for the development of his people.
Aleshinloye acknowledged Koleoso’s selfless service and immeasurable contributions to nation-building, especially his legacies in Oyo State, where he served meritoriously as a secretary to the state government.
Aleshinloye further stated that the state would sorely miss Chief Michael Koleoso, whom he described as a selfless and vibrant politician who brought Saki town in particular and Oyo State in general to the high pedestal of development.
Aleshinloye commiserated with the family of the late elder statesman and urged them to uphold the ideals he stood for, saying that the nation will continue to draw inspiration from his life and times. The former council boss prayed that God, in His infinite mercies, grant the deceased eternal rest and the immediate family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
