Alli Bay, Ex- Ibadan North MHR, Dies At 81

Hon. Alli Adebayo Balogun, popularly known as Alli Bay, is dead.

Alli-Bay, who was the Member, House of Representatives from Ibadan North federal constituency between 1999-2003, died at 81 in his Ibadan home on Tuesday morning of 18th February, 2020.

Hon. Bolanle Sarumi-Alliyu, his daughter confirmed this.
She wrote on an online communication grid that “I lost my dad this morning. The famous Alli Bay Batashi is gone, Sarumi Dikaka Dikuku.”

According to a statement issued on behalf of the family by Mrs. Bolanle Sarumi-Aliyu, Hon. Sarumi had 10 children and 20 grandchildren. “He will be buried on Tuesday while the 8th day Fidau prayers will hold at his No 3, Omo Oyin Way, Orita Bashorun, Ibadan home on February, 25”, Sarumi-Aliyu disclosed.
