APC: Asiwaju Kazeem Ayandoye Congratulates Prof Nentawe Yilwatda on His Emergence As Nat’l Chairman

Asiwaju Kazeem Ayandoye, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Ward 05, Irepo Local Government Area of Oyo State, has congratulated Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda on his emergence as the new National Chairman of the APC.

Professor Yilwatda received official ratification from the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) during a significant meeting in Abuja on Thursday, heralding a new era in the leadership of the ruling party.

In a press statement, Ayandoye, a doctor of science in African political strategies, described this momentous occasion as “a testament to the party’s unwavering commitment to progress, discipline, and inclusive leadership.” He expressed strong confidence in Prof. Yilwatda’s ability to guide the APC with vision, integrity, and a renewed sense of unity as the party prepares for the 2027 general elections.

“Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda is not only an esteemed scholar but also a principled leader filled with patriotic zeal. His emergence as National Chairman represents a pivotal moment for our party, and I am confident in his capacity to reposition the APC as a party truly dedicated to the people.”

As the Akinkanju Omo of Oke Ogun, Ayandoye commended President and party leader Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu for fostering an environment conducive to leadership renewal within the party, APC. He emphasised that the selection of Yilwatda reflects the party’s strategic effort to blend intellectual rigour with political acumen to enhance party unity and national advancement.

As a grassroots politician and advocate for inclusive governance, Asiwaju Ayandoye expressed optimism that the new chairman will prioritise internal democracy, reconciliation, and support for loyal party members nationwide.

“We anticipate a National Working Committee that listens, builds bridges, and champions the collective upliftment of party members in every state. Under Prof. Yilwatda’s stewardship, I believe our party will become more responsive, united, and aligned with the aspirations of the people.”
