APC Chieftain Lauds Interior Minister over Paramilitary Academy

The establishment of the paramilitary academy initiated by the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, and approved by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been described as one of the giant strides towards the provision and sustenance of security of life and property in the federation.
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Hon. Dada Eminence, stated this on Sunday in Akure, the Ondo State capital, while commending the president on the success recorded in ensuring security in the country.
He described the initiative by the interior minister as commendable and futuristic, saying Nigerians would begin to see the impact of the initiative when products of the academy are injected into the security system of the nation.

Eminence noted that the trainings that would be received by the intakes would be in tandem with the emerging security technologies and know-how.

According to him,“It is commendable that the Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, came up with this laudable initiative, a paramilitary academy.
“This academy is going to produce hi-tech compliant security experts, which makes the initiative futuristic.
“They would be exposed to the global emerging techniques, technologies, and concepts in security for prevention, fighting, and maintenance of peace in our country.
“We shall begin to appreciate what the minister has done when the academy begins to churn out brilliant and highly intelligent graduates in the nearest future.
“Their impact on the prevention of crime right from the level of conception and fighting the same will be quickly and deeply felt by the citizenry right to the grassroots.
“It is important that we should appreciate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for approving the establishment of this initiative through executive order because he understands the import therein for our nation.
