APC Has Lost A Thoroughbred Progressive – Agbaje Pays Tribute to Alhaji Gani Alade
Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Barrister Akeem Agbaje, has mourned the death of the party’s leader in Egbeda, Alhaji Gani Alade.
“It is a sad day for the progressives in Oyo State with the shocking news of the death of our leader in Egbeda, Alhaji Gani Alade, who was a thoroughbred progressive who showed great love for the progress and growth of our party. His leadership ethos and commitment to the ideals of progressivism are ones that inspired many. He was a pillar for our party in Oyo State in general and in Egbeda in particular. When it came to matters of the party, he showed youthful zeal, and his words of counsel were invaluable words of wisdom that I would always cherish.
His death is definitely a huge loss and a big blow to the party as it seeks to bounce back to reckoning and return to its pride of place as the ruling party in Oyo State.
Alhaji Alade lived an impactful life, leaving behind a legacy of progressivism. He would be sorely missed by all. I pray Almighty Allah grants him Aljannah Firdaus.”
