APC: Hon ‘Bimbo Kolade Congratulates Alh Abdullahi Ganduje, Sen Ajibola Bashir.
Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission, RMAFC’s Federal Commissioner from Oyo-State, Honourable Bimbo Kolade has congratulated the immediate past Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje over his emergence as the Chairman of the All Progressives Conference(APC) and former Spokesperson of Nigerian Senate, Senator Ajibola Bashir as Secretary of the party, respectively.
The Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in the State, Hon. Kolade hailed the appointments of the duo as best thing that could have happened to APC.“This is another auspicious moment in the annals of our great party. The duo taking the mantle of leadership as national chairman and secretary are men of timber and caliber. They are core progressives who are well grounded in the ideals of good governance and shown deep love and loyalty to the party.
“In former Gov. Ganduje, APC has a leader that understands the ideals of true progressivism and how to ensure that the party continues to forge ahead on that path and also, Sen Ajibola Basiru is not a stranger to leadership having been spokesman of the Senate and influential commissioner in the state of Osun.
“It is my belief that this new leadership of the party would work in good stead to galvanize the party as it prepares for elections in the nearest and foreseeable future. Once again, Congratulations, Sirs.”
It would be recalled that the candidacy of former Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje and Sen. Ajibola Bashiru were pushed up following the resignation of the immediate past Chairman Alh. Abdullahi Adamu and National Secretary, Sen. Iyiola Omisore. Their appointments were ratified at the National Executive Council meeting which was attended by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
