APC Membership Registration: Bimbo Adekanmbi Canvasses People, Encourages Stalwarts to Register, Revalidate Their Membership.

Former Commissioner for Finance and Chieftain of All Progressives Congress(APC) in Oyo State, Honourable Abimbola Adekanmbi(Bimadek) has canvassed people to register en-mass as card-carrying members of the party.

Former Deputy Chief of Staff(DCoS), Adekanmbi encouraged the old members, as well, to revalidate their membership.

Abimbola lauded Chief Akin-Oke led Oyo APC Caretaker Committee. He commended the readiness of all members and leaders of the party to mend the past, make the present and victoriously move to the future comes 2023 by forming a more united, harmonious and formidable front early.

‘APC Membership Registration and Why Do You Need to Be Part of The Process?’.

Firstly, what is a political party?.

In politics, a political party is an organized group of people who have the same ideology, or who otherwise have common political positions, and who field candidates for elections, in an attempt to get them elected and thereby implement their agenda, mainly, the pro-people agenda.

Why do I need to join a political party?.
“Politics is about the participation and engagement of the wider citizenry – to miss that point would doom us to irrelevance”, – David Blunkett.

“Inclusive participation helps communities develop functioning forms of democracy for government, corporations and civil society”, – UN Chief, Mr. Ban said.

“Those who are too smart to engage in politics are punished by being governed by those who are dumber”, – Plato.

Generally, the only way to advance the cause of our generation is to be part of ‘decision-making‘.

But why APC?.

‘All Progressives Congress(APC)’ is the only political party in Nigeria with clear cut ‘pro-people’ foundational ideology, ‘Progressivism’, and its brilliant performances cut across the board.

Meanwhile, ‘Progressivism‘ is the politics in favour of modern methods, new ideas and positive change, to advance the cause of the people.

Between 2011-2019 when the progressive party, (APC), led by Governor Abiola Ajimobi, was in government in Oyo State, it gave priority to the ‘bi basic’ responsibilities of any business minded government, ‘security and welfare‘.

The then APC led government gave robust security coverages and welfare banquets that were extended to all and sundry. And 2023 is around the corner to give the good people of Oyo State again, the progressive leadership they truly deserve.

At Federal Level, APC is doing great and it is revitalizing many sectors of our economy and social amenities like railway sub sector of transportation among others.

Apathy is dangerous : The more apathetic the citizenry; the worse will be the quality of their governance.

Therefore, shun political apathy and take responsibility by joining APC today.

‘Even for individuals, joining a political party clearly increases their impacts on the governance of their country, and state as well, compared with being a citizen who votes in elections but has no party affiliation. There are spectra of activities that you can engage in once you become a party member.
