APC Primaries : Hon Odebunmi “Bunvic” Congratulates Asiwaju Tinubu over Victory.
The Chairman, House Committee on Information, National Orientation, Ethics and Values, and Member of Representatives from Ogo-Oluwa/Surulere Federal Constituency, Hon. Olusegun Odebunmi Dokun popularly known as “Bunvic” has congratulated Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu over his emergence as the presidential candidate of the All progressives Congress(APC), at the just concluded party’s primaries, held at Eagle Square, in Abuja.
Hon. Odebunmi, in a statement he personally signed, reiterated the need for all the stakeholders to remain united and focused.
He said:“I heartily congratulate Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his electoral victory as the presidential candidate of our great Party, APC for the 2023 general elections.
“I commend all the other presidential aspirants participated in the recently concluded APC National Convention, for their courage, patriotism and remarkable spirit of sportsmanship which they displayed throughout the consultation period up to the National Convention proper.
“All our presidential aspirants are eminently qualified and their aspirations were driven by patriotism in line with the mission of APC, he said.
He stated further that,”The delegates have spoken resoundingly by electing Asiwaju Tinubu as the presidential standard bearer, to lead our party and indeed Nigerians to victory in the 2023 presidential election.
“The emergence of Asiwaju Tinubu is a well deserved one and what Nigerians are expecting from our party at the moment is to put aside all personal interests, reinforce our unity and lead the party to victory, come 2023
.
“I also equally commend the National Working Committee, the APC Governors’ Forum, the National Assembly Caucus and all other organs and structures of our great party, APC across the federation for our collective efforts in ensuring the success of our National Convention”. Bunvic submitted.
