APC Reconciliation: Prof Akande Congratulates Ex Oyo Deputy Gov, Adeyemo On Appointment.

Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission, Professor Adeolu Akande has congratulated the immediate past Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Chief Moses Alake Adeyemo on his appointment as the Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, National Reconciliation Committee.

The NCC boss in a Congratulatory message in Ibadan described Chief Alake’s appointment by the National Caretaker Committee of the party as a step in the right direction.

Professor Akande expressed optimism that the Former Deputy Governor, an astute politician and gentleman, will use his overwhelming experience in conflict resolution to calm frayed nerves and reconcile all aggrieved members of the party.

“I am very optimistic that your appointment as the Secretary of the APC, Reconciliation Committee is a step in the right direction. I know apart from your years of experience in Private and Public services, you will deploy your skills as a student of the Institute of Peace and Conflicts Studies, University of Ibadan to assist the party in resolving all matters that can lead to the disintegration of the party”, He stressed.

Professor Akande, also, prayed to God to grant all members of the committee the wisdom to discharge their duties diligently.

According to him, the task before the committee is huge but not insurmountable as long as members dedicate themselves to the oneness of the party.
