A member of House of Representative from Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Prince Olaide Akinremi Jagaban has charged the leadership and members of the All progressive Congress (APC), in Oyo State and Nigeria at large to consider the ongoing party revalidation and registration exercise as an avenue to make the party more stronger than other political parties.

He stated this shortly after re-validating his membership of the party at unit 007, ward 11, Samonda area of Ibadan North Local Government Area of Oyo State.

PlatinumTimes News reported that the APC membership and revalidation exercise which began February 9 is to end February 25, 2021.

Akinremi said that the exercise would enable old members to renew their membership and commitment to the party while new ones were expected to join the fold.

“The APC has done enough to attract new members to the party and has performed creditably in education, health, and infrastructure, among other sectors.

“This exercise has made me and other registered members bonafide members of the party who can vote and be voted for,” he said.

The lawmaker described the exercise as smooth and seamless, appealing to stakeholders and party officials to conduct it with sincerity.

“He further urged conduct it in accordance with the guidelines stipulated by the party’s national leadership.
