Chairman, Nigerian Communications Commission, Prof Adeolu Akande has congratulated His Imperial Majesty, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi-III, the Alaafin of Oyo on His appointment by President Muhammad Buhari, as the Chancellor of University of Maiduguri.
This is contained in a congratulatory message sent to the first class monarch by Prof Adeolu Akande which was made available to Africano Trumpeters Newspaper.
“I write to felicitate with you on your recent appointment as the Chancellor of University of Maiduguri, Nigeria”, Akande said.
“The announcement of your appointment in this capacity as announced by President Muhammad Buhari,GCFR is highly commendable and unique in many ways.
“This appointment, no doubt is in recognition of your sterling qualities and dedication as a first class traditional leader of repute commited to the development of our society and forging unity among our peoples.
“I am very certain that this appointment will add immense value to the University of Maiduguri and by extension the Nation at large.
