Barr Agbaje Mourns Late Oyo APC Chairman, Hon Isaac Omodewu, As Remains Arrive State

The remains of the late Oyo State All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairman, Barr. Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu, arrived in Oyo State today, sparking an outpouring of tributes from party members and leaders.

Barrister Akeem Agbaje, a chieftain of the APC, paid a glowing tribute to the late party leader, describing him as a “bridge builder” who dedicated his life to promoting peace and unity among party members.

Agbaje praised Omodewu’s impactful life, saying his legacy would live on through the countless lives he touched.

A lying-in-state ceremony was held at the Oke-Ado APC State Secretariat, while a Christian wake and night of tributes took place at the Victoria Garden Event Centre, opposite The Polytechnic Ibadan.

The funeral service will be held tomorrow, Friday, September 13, 2024, by 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, Otu, Itesiwaju LGA.

Agbaje condoled with the immediate family and the entire APC family in the state, acknowledging the immense loss caused by Omodewu’s passing. He urged the party leadership to ensure that Omodewu’s legacy is kept alive, honouring his memory and continuing his work towards a united and peaceful APC.

“May his soul rest in peace,” Agbaje said, as the party mourns the loss of a true leader and champion of unity.
