BAT 2023: “APC Nat’l Youth Ambassadors” Begins Strategic, Massive Mobilization.

As parts of their efforts geared towards garnering all important supports for the All Progressives Congress(APC) Presidential Candidate, in the 2023 general election, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, across southwestern part of the country and Nigeria as a whole, APC National Youth Ambassadors held its first historical and strategic meeting on Thursday July 28, at ALGON Office in Ibadan.

While delivering his opening addresss, the Deputy National Chairman, South West, Hon. Akinlawo Vicent extensively relayed that,”Over the past few months of setting up this unique organization as APC National Youth Ambassadors, our common goal is to sustain legacy of President Muhammad Buhari’s administration, for the continuity of his good governance. We are not unaware of the programmes of this current government targeted on youth and women development such as Npower, Market Moni, Trader Moni, Farmer Mini, School feeding programmes among several others. I, therefore, commend your role in building a better Nigeria of our dreams.

He continued,”I must commend the Chief Host, Hon Shitta. It is a great privilege to have started this meeting at home. Today, the southwest strategic meeting was convened with aim of the needed sensitization, proper planning and effective mobilization to canvass for more and robust votes for All Progressive Congress and all its Candidates from Presidential down to State Assembly flag bearers, and probably local government, also, (Top to Bottom), and to make sure we deliver all our candidates in the coming election.

“We have an enormous task ahead of us since our incoming president is from our zone, we must ensure we commit all our energy, human and capital resources to the success of this course. We must also continue to engage our teeming Youths, the market women, artisans, and students, by reorienting and educating them about Person, Personae, Performances, Plans and Programmes of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

Akinlawo recalled that, recently, he educated some market women on APC Presidential Candidate,”It is important to educate them that rotation of power has shifted from northern Nigeria to southern Nigeria, so, we must not be cajoled by the miscreants on social media who misinform people and we need to continue on our advocacy program and see it as a divine agenda. I am assuring the national leaders of this organization that the southwest youths are more than ever ready, highly committed and we promise to deliver 99% of the total votes for His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“In sensitizing our people, the important of voters’ registration and collection of Permanent Voters Card is sacrosanct because some will register and refuse to collect their PVC’s, pls, let us continue to educate them, we must ensure we deliver all our candidates from top to bottom. Lord will crown our efforts with goodness and victory”, he submitted.

In his remarks, The Chairman, Oyo State APC National Youth Ambassadors, Hon Atilade Sharafadeen popularly known as Shitta, appreciated all the leaders and stated that,” We need to try our best in educating people what APC as a party stands for. In economics, we interpret economics to two types, namely micro and macro economics – the micro is where you see quick things about economic development of any given society, while macro is when you see a longer time of investment in return. Going by this policy of this government, it is more of infrastructural developments which many people do not understand. This calls for more commitment to enlightening people. The achievements of the Railway Project are on macro economic development. In this regard, we have to be patient and be friendly with people in order to enlighten them why they should vote for APC. We should let them realize that long term investment is good for the future of this country’s economy which this party stands for under President Muhammadu Buhari. A great example of this was the foundation Asiwaju Bola Tinubu laid in Lagos State. We can’t compare Lagos of the 90s to that of today. We have to enlighten people to understand what economic development is all about. Therefore, all the state chairmen and other executive members present here should see themselves as the owner of these assignments and pioneer this project in order to achieve positive results. Not that this organization is being financed but we are all committed to this project. Asiwaju has initiated many economic projects for Lagos and he is going to reciprocate it for Nigeria after he has been sworn in as Nigerian president come 2023. We need to be engaging people diligently. Let us be committed to this project”, he urged.

The National Exofficio for APC Youth Ambassadors, Hajia Bajulaye Muftiat noted that,”It is one thing to take leadership position and it is another thing to be responsible. This meeting is quite impressive because we have six state chairmen present here. It shows we are doing excellently well. I hope the next meeting would be better than this. We must applaud the national committee and I hope the state coordinators would also form a formidable structure. We need to work together to win. Our utmost priority is that all APC Candidates must win. The advocacy for PVC has been won. We have less than a week, so, we should try to make good results out of the remaining four days. Let’s go back home to educate our people, we must encourage them to get their PVC and vote for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. Also, we need more women to participate actively in politics. It is one thing to urge women to participate in politics, it is another thing to allow them to take leadership positions. And that would be better and let us work on it. I hope to see more women in the next meeting”, she emphasized.

One of the frontline Chieftains of the group, Hon Samuel Eesuola, noted that,”We need a robust publicity and strategic communications. We should engage people and make them see reasons why they should vote for our Candidates. We need to sensitize our youths and market women, more. We need to commence sensitization and orientation programmes on the candidacy of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. We need to constitute sensitization committee, in order to engage our people more. Regarding PVC registration, APC as a party is doing wonderfully well, we will surely deliver for Asiwaju Tinubu and other APC candidates across all the states”, he maintained.

Other selected key stalwarts at the meeting respectively gave their remarks, assured landslide victory for APC and emphasized that,”Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the best man for the job that this moment calls for, come 2023.
