BAT At 69: You Are A Master Strategist With Midas Touch – Oyo APC Celebrates Asiwaju Tinubu, Extols His Virtues.

Oyo State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress(APC) has celebrated and extolled the virtues of the National Leader of All Progressives Congress(APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the occasion of his 69th birthday celebration.

The state chapter of the party described Asiwaju Tinubu as a master strategist with midas touch.

This is contained in a congratulatory message issued by Oyo APC and made available to the newsmen by the Caretaker Publicity Secretary of the party, Dr AbdulAzeez Olatunde.

The congratulatory message reads:

  "APC Oyo State today joins millions of the admirers of the National Leader of our Party, Asiwaju of Lagos and Jagaban Borgu as he turns new age. 

 Looking Right, Left,center, up and down, one would certainly and obviously be seeing the wonderful legacy of this builder of men and resources. 

Honestly, any attempt to take on the imprint of this Hero of the current democractic dispensation is a voyage to a volume of his biography which this is not meant for.

 A quick recourse to the 2003 ABRACADABRA General Election in Nigeria where the Electoral Umpire, INEC superintended over the POLITICAL TSUNAMI of five Governors of the legacy Party - ALLIANCE FOR DEMOCRACY(AD), where the Election swept away AD Governors of Ogun-Chief Segun Osoba, Oyo-Late Alh Lam Adesina, Osun - Chief Bisi Akande, Ondo - Late Chief Adebayo Adefarati, Ekiti - Chief Niyi Adebayo.

  If one think the Politico-Electoral TREACHERY of the Government at the center at wiping off the ALLIANCE FOR DEMOCRACY(AD) is over, surely, NO.

  The fate that would befall the only surviving Opposition Government Party from the Western Part of Nigeria is better imagined when Lagos State Government under the leadership of the Mercurial Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, exercised its Constitutional right of creating LCDA, Local Council Development Authorities to ensure more representation and taking Government closer to the people.


 The Federal Government under General Olusegun Obasanjo against Judicial victory by the Lagos State Government seized the Local Government Allocation of Lagos State between 2004-2007.

Unbelievably however, instead of the Federal Government embargo of the Local Government Allocation, that Seizure rather challenged Lagos State to dig deeper in its Internally Generated Revenue (IGR), such that it has taken Lagos to the 5th Global Economy index today. 

Furthermore, if one now consider the fact of various past botched attempts of the PROGRESSIVES to run Government at the Center in 1959, 1979,1983 and 1993 and the astounding and unbelievable success of pulling the chestnut out of the fire of 2015 General Election, all watchers of the current political dispensation must be awed at the GOLDEN/MIDAS TOUCH of the MASTER STRATEGIST in the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in the way and manner, the last man standing of 2003 became 4 states in 2010 with the Judicial Victory of the legacy Party (ACN) Action Congress of Nigeria from Edo, Ekiti and Osun until the ultimate reward of the success at the 2015 General Election at the centre.

     Lastly, in order not to embark on thesis, this perhaps may be a convenient opportunity for all of us from Oyo State APC led by Chief Akin Oke, to wish the Asiwaju of Lagos and Jagaban Borgu, many happy returns of the day.
