BE CALM
It’s a beautiful day reader!
Have you ever wondered why growth and success takes time and process?
Yes? Well, it is because good things take time. So, all we need to do is to be patient and trust the process. Yorubas will say “ṣe jẹjẹ” which means be calm. A child does not begin to walk the day he is born. “Ṣe jẹjẹ”. All that glitters is not gold. “Ṣe jẹjẹ”. All things seem to work in your favour but you must never get puffed up. “Ṣe jẹjẹ”.
You only have today, tomorrow is not guaranteed. “Ṣe jẹjẹ”. Your domestic staff today may be your Saviour tomorrow. “Ṣe jẹjẹ”. You may be homeless and helpless but if you are not hopeless, you will
surely soar. “Ṣe jẹjẹ”. Even when you have arrived, remember that you are not the first to arrive and you will never be the last. “Ṣe jẹjẹ”. Everyone may be praising you but you must not let it get into your head. “Ṣe jẹjẹ”. Everyone may be quick to laugh at other people’s defeat, you must not be
tempted to join them. “Ṣe jẹjẹ”. We all have life (ayé) in us. We live in the world (ayé) but we can never understand the depth of diabolical manipulations (ayé). So, “BE CALM”.
