BE FRUITFUL.

HELLO PEOPLE!
We launched a gist into the divine mandate that is binding on all humans. This 5 fold mandate was preceded by an indescribable blessedness. Be fruitful is the first dimension of the 5 fold mandate as I pointed out to you last week. Fruitfulness goes beyond being fertile and giving birth to children. What will be our state if all we can ever link fruitfulness with is childbearing?
Fruitfulness connotes yielding or producing good results. Every area of our lives and endeavours is expected to produce good results. Only then can we be happy and have a sense of fulfilment. Fruitfulness is an evidence of growth and blessedness.
Fruitfulness is the essence of our living. Our relationship with people is supposed to be fruitful if it is meaningful and we are really making impacts. If you are fruitful, every one that comes into any kind of contact with you should also be influenced to become fruitful.
Let us compare our lives and relationships with a seed or tree, you will agree with me that we need some inputs to make a seed grow into a tree and begin to bear fruits. In the same way, we must play our parts well to enable fruitfulness in our lives, our endeavours and relationship with people.
To be fruitful as GOD expects of us, we must guide our inlets – what and how we absorb things from our environment and be carefully guided on our kind of association. Just like you will not plant a seed in any kind of soil or place your seed pot just anywhere or leave your seed pot unattended, we must also be well positioned, prepared and groomed to be fruitful. The kind of friends you keep, the things you engage in and the state of your mind will determine the level of your fruitfulness.
Let us try to make a daily self – examination especially before retiring to bed to assess how we and our activities for the day and our interactions with people were fruitful. If we consciously make this a habit, sooner than expected, our fruitfulness will become very glaring even to the blind.
Till I write to you again, please keep yielding good fruits.
