An Ibarapa-based member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Barrister Opeyemi Tijani (BOT), has extolled the virtues of Dr. (Mrs.) Florence Ajimobi, widow of the late Governor Abiola Ajimobi, on her birthday. The legal practitioner described her as a distinguished and patriotic woman both within Nigeria and internationally and as an evergreen leader in Oyo State politics.
Barrister Opeyemi further commended Dr. Ajimobi’s landmark contributions to uplifting the underprivileged in Oyo State. Her initiatives, such as the free food bank, the Cancer Awareness and Free Health Initiatives through the Access to Basic Care (ABC) Foundation, and the Educate-A-Rural-Child program, are aimed at providing relief and support to the state’s residents.
The congratulatory message stated, “Today, I join well-wishers around the globe and the esteemed people of Oyo State in celebrating our matriarch, a remarkable woman, Dr. (Mrs.) Florence Ajimobi, the wife of the late former Governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi, on the occasion of her 65th birthday.
“On this special day, we honour an extraordinary woman, a leader of unparalleled excellence in Oyo State, a nurturing mother, and an inspiration to women across Nigeria,” he added.
