Birthday: Congratulations to Chief(Mrs) Oluwaseyi Adebayo Adelabu Penkelemesi (Wife of the former CBN Deputy Governor & 2019 APC Governorship Candidate) !! By Fatai Adesokan Sai Rahman.

As a Muslim, we were taught hypocrisy has no place in Islam & it is never in my character to deny whom/ whose have had encounter with in social, political, academic, Sports e.t.c. , irregardless of political perception of deliberate mischievous character that, feast on mundane issues to label one particularly, this political unnecessary suspicious era in Oyo State APC.

The earlier, the better, Oyo State APC outgrown pettiness in order not to gift the Incumbent walkover in 2023 next election despite, his Excellency, Incoherent approach to governance.

Dr ( Barr.) Festus Adedayo of Flickers, a weekly Columnist in the Nigerian Tribune, once also re-echoed this to my ears when I paid him thank you visit in his private office in September 2020, alongside our mutual friend, Mr Ganiyu Waheed, Lecturer @ International Institute of Journalism, NUJ PRESS CENTER, Ibadan.

Dr Adedayo had honored me without honorarium alongside Fmr., Oyo State Head of Service, Soji Eniade & Ayodeji Karim of Winchester Home’s & Construction as Keynote speaker and Discussants at Colloquium held for Alhaji (Esv) Tayo Hassan-Lamuye who had retired as Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Lands, Oshogbo on August 22nd 2020. Fmr Oyo State AG/Commissioner for Justice, Bayo Mutalib Ojo, Chief Wale Arowomole, Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu, Bimbo Adekanmbi, Ambali Abiodun, Architect Salam Azeez, Tunde Alonge & other’s also graced the occasion.

Dr Festus and I discussed on wide range of issues, socio-economic-cultural in Africa, Nigeria Democracy, Oyo State Politics and her political characters. The Erudicity of Governor Abiola Ajimobi, palace coup at Agodi Government house while in government, Bayo Ojo lion heart to face the Governor to punched lies of sycophants in government, e.t.c.

My principal take-home from Dr Festus Adedayo that noon after hours, was that, don’t inherit people’s enemies, especially one that has been of good character to you or favour deserve pay back in positive mode.

Essence of my above preamble is to draw cotton between Politics, Friendship & Humanity. Many have taken Politics/aspirations so bitter to an extent even, when his rival died, he or she won’t say condolence, example was June 25 2020 Ibadan atitude episode of Ajimobi Successor , this will be better captured in my next article as the death anniversary of His Excellency, Late Ajimobi clocks 1 in 24days time.

It was during the struggle at the Gubernatorial tribunal of Bayo Adelabu of APC vs Seyi Makinde of PDP in July 2019. I left Fresh FM Radio popular Cross- Fire anchored by MAYOR ISSAC BROWN , after hot debate in the studio with the PDP member who was determined like their boss to rubbished legacies of Ex Gov., Abiola Ajimobi, I got a call to come to Oluyole Private residence of Ajimobi, unknown to me Bayo Adelabu, Fmr DG, Bureau of Physical Planning, Late Alhaji Waheed Gbadamosi, Jibo Ajiboye were with Oga ( Ajimobi) but, set to leave Ibadan for Buordillon that night with Adelabu.

I and Oga ( Ajimobi) could not engaged much but, before he drove out, I , Adelabu, Ambali Abiodun, Gbadamosi , Ajiboye were outside the Compound discussing in hush tones as I Ambali were designated to go on Splash FM Radio , Tuesday in 48hrs time on YS LIVE as it was era of deliberate pull him down of Ajimobi by Incumbent Governor Seyi Makinde & PDP especially of lands allocation of forest. Since it’s an assignment for the party assigned by Leader of the party, Late Ajimobi, it done as instructed by Ambali Abiodun and I.

Without sounding immodest, from April 2019, when it was suicidal to mention APC on radio stations program’s in Oyo State till date, I have singularly been to radio stations in IBADAN more than 200 times with an average of 15times in a month, a feat am privileged to have done in Oyo State APC on Radio to project the image without being the Spokesperson of APC with narrow escape from being dropped dead by the Opposition on February 5th 2020 at challenge.

Notable Like-minds in this regard are Ambali Abiodun, Ademola SOLALU, Inaolaji Akinloye, Tope Suleiman topzy, Omolaja Olaleye , Monsur Cadre Socrates e.t.c.

Bayo Adelabu Penkelemesi would later invited to his private residence to be on his entourage as he had Special Interview with Political gang of Political Circuit, Mayor Issac Brown, Bisi Oladele, Dare Adekanmbi, Ademola Babalola after March 2019 election, his first ever Media Interface.

I drove to his Adelabu Palatial residence at IYAGANKU GRA ,parked outside since time was fast spent and I had chosen to stayed in my car till he would come downstairs.

The woman, Mrs OLUWASEYI ADELABU & I never met in person, I only have conversation relationship with her Elder Sister, Popular, Mrs Jumoke George.

I walked into the Compound, before Roma Olalekan, Awogboro, Ajiboye could arrived, I met Simplicity, humility and candor personality.

If I come across a fake character, I know one, Mrs Adelabu is not a pretentious character, just like Mrs Modupe Adeolu Akande .

What made her receptive attitude towards me as he ushered me in Intriguing ,was that, not really common to see a wife of a Billionaire, Influential Personality, especially a wife of a Fmr Deputy Governor CBN attending to Sai Rahma in such humble mode.

Three others joined us and the chat continue till Adelabu got ready , we departed IYAGANKU GRA for Fresh FM.

As if that was not enough, I was part of her husband 50th birthday party Committee, Best Western Hotel, IYAGANKU GRA where K1 de Ultimate and selected Guests converged, she was very warmly with me and full of Appreciations to all for identifying with her husband.

I don’t have her phone number as I don’t keep such relationship with powers that be spouse’s except for exigiecies dictation. There is limit of affinity to another Man’s wife in Islam except with the knowledge of the husband.

I choose not to write about other hands of good deeds extended as she is a very private person, infact, I got to know by chance that today is her birthday hence submission of Epistle to draw lessons of Humility from Mrs Adelabu.

I write to wish you many more wins. Barakallahu. Iyawo Bayo Adelabu Penkelemesi.
