Birthday: Family, Friends, Others Celebrate Olateju Ishola Aregbesola(Jnr) At 40.

Friends, family, comrades, politicians, scholars, students, youth and others have yesterday gathered in the ancient city of Ilorin to celebrate the Personal Assistant(PA) to the Minister of Interior- Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola and National Coordinator of Asiwaju Grassroot Foundation, Comrade Olateju Ishola Aregbesola(Jnr) on the occasion of his Ruby Jubilee, 40th birthday in a grand style.

In his speech titled as “My Life At 40”, Comrade Olateju said, “let me begin my appreciation from Almighty Allah, who has been kind to me and preserved me to His Glory. I pray that may the souls of my parents rest in peace. I will particularly be eternally grateful to my mother, Late Alhaja, Wosilat Adunni. She was a mother in millions. The foundation of my life was laid by her, may she continue to find rest in the bosom of her Lord.

He continued, ” Bulk of my appreciation goes to the family that made me whom I am, Ogbeni Rauf and Alhaja Sherifat Aregbesola, who has contributed a lot to my life, in fact they are the drummers on whose beat I keep dancing to. I am grateful for all what God has used them to do in my life. Only God and God alone can appreciate them for me. Asides God and my mother, the Aregbesolas are of the greatest influence to my life, I salute them.

Under the chairmanship/moderation of Hon. Saheed Popoola, Member, House of Assembly representing Offa State Constituency, the discussants – Mr Alwan Hassan( APYF National Field Director), Mrs Rinsola “MKO” Abiola(Board Member, Young Women in Politics), Mr Kunle Yussuf(Associate Editor/Head of Investigative Desk, The Nation Newspaper), Hon. Sodiq Olajide(DG, Oranmiyan Worldwide), Comrade Sunday Asefon(President, National Association of Nigerian Students- NANS) and Sheikh Muhyideen Salman Hussein(Chief Imam, Offa) analysed the ” Effects of Social Media on Internal Security: A Case Study of #EndSARS, Herdsmen, Cyber Crimes And Ritual Killings”.

Chief Imam of Offa land, Sheikh Muhyideen Salman Hussein who was the spiritual father of the day lauded Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola as an exemplar of charismatic mode of leadership. He prayed for the celebrant and encouraged the guests to love others as themselves.

In his goodswill message, NANS President, Sunday Asefon said “I felicitate and rejoice with a leader of repute, an inspirational and motivational personality, a Comrade and a dependable figure, Comrade Olateju Ishola, Personal Assistant(PA) to the Hon. Minister of Interior, Federal Republic of Nigeria on the occasion of his birthday anniversary today.

He further said, “My friendship of over a decade with him exposes me to his strength which is 100% loyalty to whoever he dedicated his services to. As a born and great leader, Comrade Teju is an exemplary paradigm of charismatic mode of leadership. Thus, Oga Wa Ishola Olateju’s capacity, ingenuity and dexterity have never been in doubt and I always adore him for this.
Comrade Teju!, you’ve mentored and encouraged many youth to be the active players in decision-making process of our dear great country, Nigeria so as to safeguard her future and that of ours.

PA to Comrade Teju and CEO of “MALCOM CONFECTIONARIES”, Olaore Naheem popularly known as Malcolm X described his boss as “his leader and benefactor. Happy Birthday sir”, he said.

Malcolm X further maintained that “Olateju” is a great man who has firm belief in ‘Services to Humanity’. As fate would have it, since our paths crossed, he has always been supportive and reliable.
To briefly describe him, my boss, ‘Teju’ as he is fondly called by we his admirers, is courageous, determined, focus and ideologically sound.

“Olateju has never believed in impossibility. He always strives for success no matter the circumstances. My boss is a Progressive to the core and a man who is always loyal and committed to the struggle he believes.
My Boss! Comrade Teju, I pray to Almighty Allah to continue to guide you and protect you. You shall witness many more years in sound health and with greater achievements on earth. Thanks for your support always”, Olaore concluded.

Others invitees showered encomia and prayers on the celebrant, Olateju and wished him many more years on earth.

Other segments of the occasion were the graduation and empowerments for trainees of “Olateju Ishola Foundation”. Among the beneficiaries are Abiola Margaret Bunmi, Kolawole Abiola Comfort, Kehinde Muhammad Jamiu, Nurein Zainab Motunrayo, Kolawole Lateefah Taiwo and several others.
