Birthday : Florence Ajimobi Turns 61, Celebrates It Privately , Appreciates People
By Sunday, April 5, 2020, Chief (Dr) Florence Ajimobi, the former First Lady of Oyo State and founder of Ajumose Food Bank will turn 61 and she has decided to celebrate it privately in obeisance to the directives of governments at all strata and health professionals on the containment and control of COVID-19 also known as Coronavirus.
This is contained in the press release issued today and personally signed by Her Excellency which was made available to newsmen in Ibadan.
The full press release reads thus;
“Follow the instructions on how to beat Covid-19 and stay home on the 5th of April, 2020.
Dear family & friends
To the glory of God, On Sunday the 5th of April 2020, I will turn 61,
I am thrilled and filled with utmost gratitude to God for yet another grace from Him and Him alone
Due to recent developments with the pandemic in the whole universe, I desire to mark this day privately in my home.
I therefore, request that you all
please keep me in your thoughts and prayers in your various homes
I know and appreciate how much you love me.
However, the best gift you can give me on this special day is your decision to stay home.
This is a challenging time for us as a nation and we must prioritize good health and safety
My fervent prayer is that this situation will be behind us very soon and we will have many more reasons to celebrate
