Birthday: Senator Alli felicitates ex-Ibadan North council boss, Ghandi
Senator (Dr) Sharafadeen Alli (APC-Oyo South) has congratulated a former Chairman of the Ibadan North Local Government, Alhaji Omilabu Ghandi, on the occasion of his birthday.
Alli, in a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen on Tuesday in Ibadan, described Ghandi as a grassroots politician and community leader of repute.
Alli commended Ghandi for his consistent commitment to the progress and development of Ibadanland and Oyo State in general.
The lawmaker said that Ghandi’s years of public service reflected uncommon dedication, humility and passion for the welfare of the people, noting that his contributions to local governance remain indelible.
Alli prayed that Almighty Allah would continue to grant the celebrant sound health, wisdom and long life to enable him to further serve humanity and contribute to the unity and progress of the state.
He reaffirmed his belief that Oyo State and Nigeria at large need more patriotic and visionary leaders like Gandhi, whose life and service exemplify loyalty, perseverance, and true commitment to the people.
