Birthday: You’re “Father of All” – Chief Adelabu Celebrates Senator Ladoja At 77.

Former Deputy Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria(CBN), Chief Adebayo Adelabu has described the former Governor of Oyo State, High Chief Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja, the Osi Olubadan of Ibadanland, as a father of all whose positive impact in politics and governance in Oyo state will never be forgotten.

Chief Adelabu stated this in a birthday message to Senator Ladoja, which was made available to journalists, through one of his Media Aides, Comrade Femi Awogboro.

According to Chief Adelabu, the success story of Oyo State is not complete without acknowledging the immense contributions of Senator Rasheed Ladoja during his reign as governor.

“Governor Rasheed Ladoja is a development-focussed politician. Despite the political challenges his administration faced at the time, Senator Ladoja did not deviate from his development plan to transform the State”,Adelabu stated.

“It will also be on record that the State Government commenced new development plan strategy for education sector through decentralization of secondary schools and 30 students per teacher model commenced during his tenure”, he mentioned.

Chief Adelabu stressed that without any political colouration, the Osi Olubadan, High Chief Rasheed Ladoja is a father and mentor to him and he will continue to consult him especially for his wide experience in administration and politics. “It is a known fact that the Adelabus and the Ladojas have amiable and verifiable history of political relationships traceable to the pre-independent political era. Therefore, Baba Ladoja remains a father and political mentor to me especially given our similar route into politics from the corporate world”, he said.

Chief Adelabu wished Senator Rasheed Ladoja more fruitful years ahead in good health and in abundant blessings.
