A Renown Agrotech Expert and Influential Youth Advocate, Hon. Banji A Banji popularly known as ‘Eagle’, has declared his intention to contest comes 2023, under the platform of the All Progressives Congress(APC), as a Member of the Federal House of Representative representing the Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa/Kajola Federal Constituency in Oyo State.
Banji A Banji, who has previously known and lauded as a key supporter and strong member of the party in the state, stated that his interest to join the race is to directly give back to the society and prove it to his constituency, Oke-Ogun zone, Oyo-State and the whole world that youth can truly do it ‘far more’ better.
“I’m interested and determined to join the race due to my age long passion to wholeheartedly serve our this great Federal Constituency, Oyo State and Nigeria….Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa/Kajola Federal Constituency deserves the best and here is the credible alternative, your son, Banji A Banji”, he stated.
“Our constituency, and entire Oke-Ogun zone, is the food basket of Oyo-State. Without sounding immodest, we are one of the zones that feed Nigeria and entire Africa. So, coincidentally, as an expert of Agricultural Technology(Agrotech), I will use my knowledge, experience, influence, contacts and connections to revolutionalise agricultural activities in our this great constituency, and by extension in the entire Oke-Ogun zone. And this will definitely make us more apparent on world map”, Banji assured.
“I will sponsor bills that will efficiently ensure food security for all and sundry. I will sponsor bills that will truly boost digital economy. I will sponsor bills that will directly empower youth. I will sponsor bills that will effectively promote women’s rights. I will also sponsor bills that will give standard welfare packages to the aged. In short, my people! “Before, we’ve been giving back to the society in different ways like ICT trainings, Agrotech trainings, issuing scholarship, supporting youth activities, assisting widows among others. But, now, we will start the full political and philanthropic activities, as usual, and no one will be excluded because your this son, Banji is fully determined to serve everybody.
