Breaking: Chief Wasiu Ajimobi Becomes “AARE AGO BALOGUN OF IBADALAND”.

His Imperial Majesty, Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji Ajeogunguniso-I, the Olubadan of Ibadan Land, has promoted the younger Brother to late Governor Ajimobi, Chief Wasiu Delodun Adegboyega Ajimobi, from his previous traditional tittle, Lagunna, to “Aare Ago Balogun of Ibadanland.

The Hotels and Hospitality Magnate, Chief Wasiu Ajimobi thanked Almighty God for the gift of life and lauded Olubadan of Ibadan Land, Oba Adetunji for his traditional ingenuity and royal panache.

In his words of appreciations, the Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress(APC), in Oyo-State, Chief Wasiu Ajimobi said,”First of all, I thank Almighty God for the gift of life and for making this historic day a reality. Also, sincerely, I’m always proud of Kabiesi. He’s a big blessing to Ibadan Land, and for all Ibadan descendants. Indeed, baba possesses rare traditional ingenuity and royal panache. Kabiesi, long may you life on the throne of your forefathers. Sir, I, wholeheartedly, thank you for this and not only for all what you’ve been doing for me, personally, but also for what you’ve been doing for us all, generally, as your subjects and descendants of Ibadan Land. Your Imperial Majesty, once again, thank you, sir.

Chief Ajimobi also appreciated his wife, family, friends, well- wishers and supporters at home and in diasporas. Even, in death, he hailed his late brother, Governor Ajimobi whom he described as his benefactor and a blessing to humankind. Chief Wasiu Ajimobi prayed that may God Almighty always repose the soul of the late Aare of Ibadan Land, Governor Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi and bless all what he left behind.
