Breaking: “Emir of Ilorin” Endorses Tinubu for 2023 Presidency As TLF BoT Chair, Ganiyu, Others Spread BAT’s Gospel to Monarch’s Palace.

Emir of the Ilorin Emirate in Kwara State and Chairman of Kwara State Traditional Councils, His Eminence, Alhaji(Dr) Ibrahim Kolapo Sulu Gambari has endorsed former Governor of Lagos-state, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for Nigeria’s 2023 presidential race.

The first class monarch stated this while playing host to the leadership of a foremost Pro-Tinubu movement, Tinubu Legacy Forum(TLF), led by its Chairman, Board of Trustees(BoT), Alhaji Ganiyu Akeem, in company of other BoT members, national executives and other members of the Forum, on Thursday, in His Eminence’s palace, in the ancient city of Ilorin.

In his opening remarks, the BoT Chairman, Ganiyu stated that;”Your Eminence, sir, we’re here, today, firstly, to salute your frantic efforts on fostering peace, unity, oneness and progress among Nigerians, irrespective of people’s region or religion, creed or colour.

“Secondly, we’re here on Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, BAT’s 2023 presidential agenda. Sir, we need Your royal blessings and full supports on this project. Conclusively, we want to, also, humbly present it to Your Eminence that we’ve resolved to appoint you as our ‘Grand Royal Patron of TLF – North Central’ and we will feel proud to have you sir as our patron.

While responding, Sulu Gambari saluted TLF leadership for their courtesy visit and stated that;”It’s my pleasure to welcome you all here, in Ilorin! The city of Alimi and Sheik Alimi’s palace, today, and thanks for your courtesies. Firstly, I’ve noted your requests and by His Grace, you’ve my supports and you’re, always, welcome, and I’ve as well accepted the patronship. 

“Firstly, there is no presidential aspirant, either in person or proxy that has visited me on his ambition except Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu that you brought his agenda before me, here, today. That you’re here today to represent Asiwaju’s interests, I must accord you the same honour and respect that I would’ve accorded him if he’s here, today, in person.

“I and Asiwaju Tinubu have been together, as friends, for long and we’re still intimately together, till now. I was in Lagos between 1990 and 1995 as Presiding Justice of Court of Appeal, Lagos state and we’ve always been affable towards each other since then and till now”, Emir stated.

Emir maintained that the type of Asiwaju Tinubu is needed to succeed President Buhari, to continue his masses-oriented programmes and better the lot of Nigerian citizens.

Recall that TLF led by its BoT Chairman, Alhaji Ganiyu Akeem has mobilised similar supports from His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ọjájá II, the Ooni of Ife, and some other royal fathers in the country, and the Forum still continues mobilising such supports for “BAT 2023”.

On the entourage of BoT Chairman Alh. Ganiyu Akeem Adesina’s visit to the Emir, were Alh. AbdulSalam Monsoor, Hon. Ayuba Alawo, Dr. Musa Alongbija, Alh. Dikrullahi Sanni, Hon.
