BREAKING: Folarin Meets 40 Ex-Oyo LG Helmsmen.
Nothing less than 40 former chairmen of various local government areas in Oyo state have met Teslim Folarin, governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, today, OYOINSIGHT.COM reported.
While some of them were in attendance, others who could not make it due to other engagements, and especially, the Sallah festival, sent words of assurances.
At the meeting which held that their ALGON office around Iyaganku, they discussed peace and reconciliatory efforts in the party.
The three term lawmaker, who was happy with the former council bosses, said that he felt honoured “to have heart-to-heart discussions with former executive chairmen of LGA’s in Oyo State ably led by former ALGON Chairman – Alhaji (Chief) Bashorun Ajuwon.
“The meeting centred on unity of purpose, which is to return Oyo APC to winning ways in 2023 for the betterment of the masses.
“I assure that I’ll never take the patriotism, loyalty and support of our leaders and teeming members for granted,” Sen. Folarin said.
