BREAKING: Hon Olaide Akinremi Emerges APC Flag Bearer for Ibadan North Federal Constituency.

Member of the House of Representatives representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Hon. Prince Olaide Akinremi popularly referred to as Jagaban has secured the mandate of the All Progressives Congress(APC) party delegates in Ibadan North Local Government to once again fly the party’s flag in the 2023 general elections.

At the primary election held on Friday May 27, 2022 at Le Chateur event Hall Bodija, Hon. Olaide Akinremi scored the maximum number of 60 votes from 60 eligible delegates to defeat three (3) other aspirants in the race to continue to represent the party in his current position as the Honorable member representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency.

Amidst jubilations by numerous party faithfuls who had throng the venue to observe the election, members of the press interviewed quite a number of delegates, party leaders and members who only had assuring comments to pass on the credibility and performance of Hon. Olaide Akinremi since he secured the mandate of the entirety of Ibadan North Federal Constituency in 2019.

Hon. Abiodun Omotosho, the APC Local Government party secretary in Ibadan North stated that he is elated at the outcome of the exercise, and that though the party parades excellent politicians vying for the same political office in their local government, Prince Olaide Akinremi is cut from a totally different and unique fabric, and is the best to have represented Ibadan North Federal Constituency in history.

He went further to say that he isn’t surprised by the absolute electoral support Hon. Olaide Akinremi got at the just concluded primary, as party faithfuls across the length and breadth of Ibadan North Federal Constituency are witnesses to the landmark and incomparable achievements of Prince Akinremi Jagaban, ones which are huge reference points for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in their constituency.

Overseen by staff of INEC and representatives of relevant security agencies, the entire process was adjudged free and fair, and was commended by teeming party faithful who displayed their happiness, reveling in celebrations, and assuring the good people of Ibadan North Federal Constituency that Hon. Olaide Akinremi’s second term is certain to yield more benefits for the people.
