BREAKING: Kolapo Kola-Daisi Leaves APC, Picked As Consensus Senatorial Candidate of Accord Party.
Based on information reaching our political desk, this newspaper, Africano Trumpeters can authoritatively report that, Kolapo Kola-Daisi has dumped the All Progressives Congress (APC) and he has been chosen as the Accord Party’s consensus candidate for Oyo South Senatorial District, come 2023.
This comes days after the young Finance Expert, Kola Daisi was declared winner in the APC senatorial primary election, which was later cancelled to make way for a controversial re-run that then declared another contestant as winner.
Our sources confirmed that despite the controversies still hanging around the re-run, the acclaimed winner of the primaries has gone ahead to accept the outcome to be the APC Senatorial candidate for Oyo South.
The Accord party leaders, as hinted based their choice of Kola-Daisi through a consensus on many reasons which include but not limited to his apparent competence, his age, his unblemished heritage, and how he has proven himself to be popularly accepted by the people within a short time.
Our sources also stated that an official confirmation of this move is expected to be done in the coming hours by the Accord party and from Mr. Kolapo Kola-Daisi himself.
