Breaking: Youths Canvass Supports for Kolapo Daisi Ahead of 2023 Election.
Teaming youths of the All Progressives Congress(APC), across all the local government areas of Oyo South Senatorial district, have converged yesterday, to address what they tagged as “Matters of Urgency”, at K S Motel, in Ibadan. The youth numbering hundreds canvassed support for the Financial Expert and a Son of Bashorun of Ibadanland, Mr Kolapo Kola-Daisi as the next senator of the district, in the National Assembly, come 2023.
During their meeting, the youth group who tagged themselves as “Concerned Youth of Oyo South Senatorial District” lamented the state of retrogression that the district has witnessed, especially, since 2019 till date and they unanimously resolved that it is high time for the youth to save the district from the conservative grip that it is presently experiencing.”The journey starts now and must all rise to the occasion, to save our this great district”,they stated.
The concerned youth while assessing the array of young stalwarts that the Oyo APC parade, in the district, through their spokesperson, Hon. Kabir Akinsola, from Ibadan South East Local Government, maintained that, ” Of course, all of our young stalwarts are good but Mr Kolapo Kola-Daisi stands out as a liberator we need in Oyo South come 2023.
“He’s able and capable. He’s agile and charismatic. He’s courageous and capacious. He’s amiable and adorable. Indeed, he’s humble and accessible.
“Though, we know he’s a gubernatorial material but we need him more at senatorial level, to come and liberate us in Oyo South. Yes, he has not declared ambition to contest for any office but we’re using this medium to appeal to him, to volunteer himself as our liberator, in Oyo South, come 2023.
“He’s a youth like us. He has a good pedigree. He has impressive credentials and he’s Omoluabi to the core, so, we need him. We want to send him senatorial errand come 2023”, they reiterated.
“As we are using this medium to appeal to him to accept our offer, we’re also using this medium to mobilise supports for him enmass. Yes, we’re convinced that he will not turn our this pro-people and progressive offer down because he has always been a listening type. Please, let’s rally round him when he finally accept this offer”,they canvassed.
