Bunvic to Ilaka – Caution Your Overzealous Handlers, Urge Them to Respect Community Ethos.
Honourable Olusegun Odebunmi, Member representing Ogo-Oluwa/ Surulere Federal Constituency who also wears cap as the Chairman House Committee on Information has debunked the insinuation that he deliberately situated his campaign Billboard in Oko roundabout to obstruct another Billboard belonging to PDP Oyo Central Senatorial Candidate, Chief Bisi Ilaka whom he said he has respect for as an elderly state man.
Chairman, Oyo State House of Representatives caucus, Bunvic described the allegation as unfounded and frivolous. “It’s unfounded and it has no any iota of merit, and truth.” He emphasized.
In a press release issued by his Media Consultant, Mr Akintoye Ekun, Hon. Bunvic opined that the politics of media banters and propaganda embarked upon by one of the council chairmen was a deliberate ploy invented and intended to curry unearned sympathy from unsuspecting members of the public .
Reacting to the specificity of the allegation, Bunvic noted that,”Former Chief of Staff, Chief Ilaka is someone whom I have a lot of regard for but some overzealous characters and reckless individuals in his camp(community) were the ones that are mischievous, and misleading the public.
Bunvic advised the handlers of Chief ilaka’s Billboard to approach the constituted authority in the state for more clarification on the matter.
