CCII Football Finals Set to Hold Today, Mogaji Ajibola Areokuta to Chair Event
The Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) has announced the final matches of the SI Amole Inter Secondary School Female Football competition and President-General Inter Local Government Male Football competition, scheduled to take place today, Thursday, July 4, 2024, by 11a.m at Ilaji Farms and Resorts Stadium.
According to the invitation letter signed by Balogun Gaphar Ojetola, Chairman of the planning committee, the event aims to promote peace and progress in society through sports.
Mogaji Isiaq Ajibola Areokuta will chair the occasion, with Chief Taye Soyege as Mother of the Day.
Special guests of honour include Mogaji Eng. Popoola Kayode Joshua, Kareem Adeyemi and Chief Sir Dotun Sanusi.
The final matches will feature four schools and local governments, including St. Clare Girls High School, Oyo State Comprehensive Model School, Lagelu, Ibadan North Local Government, Adem High School, Elekuro High School, Ibadan Northeast, and Ibadan Southeast Local Government.
The event promises to be an exciting display of football talent and sportsmanship, promoting unity and friendly competition among Ibadan indigenes.
