The Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes(CCII) has conferred the “Most Distinguished Ibadan Indigene(MDII)” Award on the Chairman, Association of Local Governments of Nigeria(ALGON), Oyo-state chapter, Prince Ayodeji Abass-Aleshinloye, yesterday, in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.

Former Finance Commissioner in the state and Oyo South Senatorial Hopeful, Hon. ‘Bimbo Adekanmbi congratulated Prince Aleshinloye and described the award as a well deserved honour.

Former Oyo Deputy Chief of Staff(DCoS), Adekanmbi lauded and maintained that, “Achievements could not be taken to mean rhetorical pledges, pleasant utterances and wishful thinking of the political office-holders, but the ultimate results of one’s actions, commitments, persistence, courage and dedication.
