Charity: Lekan Afuye Gives Financial Supports to APC Members, Others in Ibadan.
The Executive Chairman of Ibadan Northeast Local Government Area and Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress(APC) in Oyo State, Hon. Lekan Afuye has today given financial supports to over 500 APC party faithful and other members of the society, to aid their basic needs and support their welfare.
In his short address, the helmsman of all 25 Local Councils in Ibadan Land, Hon. Afuye thanked God for keeping him and everyone present alive and together despite the unanticipated global pandemic, Covid-19 that is ravaging the whole world and which has claimed many lives locally and globally.
Afuye admonished beneficiaries of the financial supports to remain faithful with God, who alone has the capacity to improve us as humans, and he encouraged them to be confident that everything will soon be alright.
Afuye assured the party faithful of his periodic intervention in similar manner as God gives ability for it. He appealed to other members of the society who also have financial wherewithal to assist others, and be their brothers’ keepers.
Africano Trumpeters Newspaper recalled that Hon. Lekan Afuye has earlier distributed relief materials to APC, party faithful and other members of the society during the early period of Covid-19 outbreak and lock down.
