Chief Iyiola Oladokun Mourns Former President Muhammadu Buhari’s Passing, Sympathises with Family, FG

Former Deputy Governor of Oyo State and leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Iyiola Oladokun, has commiserated with the family of late former President Muhammad Buhari, who died yesterday in a London hospital.

Chief Oladokun recalled that the late president, in his lifetime, did his best for the unity of Nigeria.

“Late President Muhammad Buhari fought the civil war to keep Nigeria one and served in various military formations all over the world.

“President Buhari’s tenure as Federal Commissioner for Petroleum and Natural Resources was resourceful.

“As Federal Commissioner for Petroleum and Natural Resources, he constructed 20 petroleum storage depots all over the country and signed a contract for the construction of the Kaduna refinery, Chief Oladokun recalled.

“As military Head of State, he created War Against Indiscipline, WAI, to sanitise the decadence in the country, while as civilian president, he ruled the country to the best of his ability,” the former Deputy Governor reiterated.

Chief Oladokun prayed to Allah to forgive him his sins and give his family the fortitude to bear the great loss.
