Christian Youth Wing: Seyi Tinubu congratulates Arowolo on emergence as YOWICAN chairman

Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has congratulated Venerable Ademola Daniel Arowolo on his election as the National Chairman of the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN), describing the victory as well-deserved.

Seyi, in a congratulatory message shared on his social media platforms, praised Arowolo’s emergence as a reflection of his dedication, exemplary leadership and unwavering commitment to service within the church and the broader Nigerian youth community.

“Congratulations to Ademola Daniel Arowolo on your well-deserved victory as National Chairman, Youth Wing, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN)! This achievement is a testament to your dedication, leadership, and unwavering commitment to service,” Tinubu said.

He also offered prayers for divine guidance and success for the new YOWICAN chairman, expressing confidence that Arowolo’s leadership would promote unity, moral values and positive engagement among Christian youths across the country.

Arowolo, a respected clergyman and youth advocate, was elected after a keenly contested process that highlighted the growing influence of young Christians in Nigeria’s religious and civic space.

He previously served as Chairman of YOWICAN in the South West Zone, where he was credited with championing youth-focused initiatives, strengthening inter-bloc collaboration and leading activities such as International Youth Day commemorations.

His election comes at a critical time for YOWICAN, which continues to play a significant role in mobilising Christian youths for spiritual growth, community development and active participation in nation-building.

YOWICAN is the youth arm of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and serves as a key platform for advocating the interests and aspirations of Christian youths nationwide.
