Christmas: Ogunesan Celebrates with Christian Community, Nigerians

In the spirit of Calvary greetings, Chief (Mrs.) Olawumi Ogunesan (MFR), a former Oyo State Head of Service (HoS), has extended her warm wishes to the Christian community in the state and to Nigerians generally as the nation joyfully celebrates the birth of Lord Jesus Christ this Christmas.

Embracing the significance of this yuletide season, which symbolises the arrival of good tidings of joy, peace, and renewed hope, Chief Ogunesan called on all Nigerians to reflect on and act upon this timeless message.

The influential Chieftainess of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, Ogunesan, emphasised the importance of expressing love to one another, transcending religious and ethnic differences.

Amidst the festive cheer, Chief Ogunesan took the opportunity to commend all Nigerians for their active participation in the recently concluded 2023 general election, electing President Bola Tinubu to lead the nation into a new era. She encouraged citizens to trust in God, emphasising the renewal of hope under President Tinubu’s leadership.

As the nation commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, the female archetype, Ogunesan urged Nigerians to maintain peace during this period. She advocated for the avoidance of violence, emphasising that peace is the foundation for development and harmonious coexistence within any community.
