Tunde Adeyemo,
Ibadan, Oyo State.
Chief (Mrs) Hannah Olawumi Ogunesan, MFR, a dedicated community leader and a proud daughter of Oke-Ogun, has extended her warmest and most heartfelt felicitations to the resilient people of Oyo North and all Nigerians on the joyous occasion of the 2025 Christmas celebrations.
In her message of goodwill, Mrs Ogunesan reflected on the profound significance of Christmas as a season of hope, love, and the renewal of faith. She emphasised that the timeless message of peace, compassion, and goodwill towards all, as exemplified by the birth of Jesus Christ, is especially vital for our communities and nation at this time.

“As we gather with our families, friends, and loved ones to celebrate this special season, let us embrace the core values of Christmas: love for one another, kindness to our neighbours, and generosity to those in need”, Mrs Ogunesan stated.

“This is a time to bridge divides, strengthen the bonds of community, and share our blessings. In Oyo North and across Nigeria, let the light of Christmas illuminate our hearts and guide our actions towards greater unity and mutual support.” Ogunesan commended the enduring spirit and steadfast faith of the people, particularly praising the communal harmony and cultural richness that defines the Oyo North senatorial district. Mrs.
Ogunesan also offered prayers for a peaceful, prosperous, and transformative New Year for all citizens, urging continued hope and collective effort towards building a brighter future for Nigeria.
