Today, our affiliate Organisations are very happy of reaching these enviable and greater heights as a formidable Coalition of Civil Society Organisations for A Better Nigeria, and it will be a deservice to keep quiet over the present composition of the nomination of the new members of the Federal Executive Council (FEC), which parades the best brains, some of whom are well known to us and have contributed so much in the past to the growth and development of their individual Constituencies and that of this noble Organisation as notable members of the Civil Societies, to mention but few, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, former Governor of Osun State; immediate past Governor of Rivers State, Nyesome Wike; Prof Abubakar Momoh from Edo State; Chief Adebayo Adelabu, former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (Operation); Shuaibu Abubakar Audu, Son of late Governor Audu Abubakar of Kogi State; Barrister Lateef Fagbemi, SAN; Dr (Mrs) Betta Edu, APC Women Leader; Barrister Festus Keyamo, SAN; Mr Dele Alake; Mr Wale Edun; Mr Zacheus Adelabu; others; as well as the promising leadership of the National Executive Council (NEC) of the ruling Party, All Progressives’ Congress (APC), which is now being led by Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje, immediate past Governor of Kano State and Senator (Barrister) Ajibola Bashiru, immediate past Spokesman of the Senate, as the new National Chairman and National Secretary respectively.
We equally applaud the most timely appointment of our longstanding Brother in Progress, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), as National Security Adviser and credible election of Senator (Barrister) Opeyemi Bamidele as Majority Leader of the Senate.
We are confident of what you can do in these your new positions and to be honest with ourselves, the Renewed Hope Agenda of Mr President deserves nothing less than having your competent team on Board.
We hail the reeappointment of Lagos Chief of Staff, Tayo Ayinde; Information Commissioner, Gbenga Omotoso, and other members of the Cabinet in the State of aquatic splendour, popularly known as Centre of Excellence
To you all, we say Congratulations Sir/Ma.
