Communication Pundit, ‘Jide Adeyemi Sets to Organise “Special Eye Screening Program” Tomorrow in Ibadan
A Renown Communication Pundit and Leading Member, House of Representatives(MHR) Hopeful from Ibadan North East and South East Federal Constituency, on the platform of the All Progressives Congress(APC), comes 2023, Hon. ‘Jide Adeyemi has fully set to organise “a special eye screening program”, tomorrow, Wednesday, for the residents and indigenes of Ibadan Northeast and Southeast Local Government Areas of Oyo-State.
“Our Principal and A Leading Federal House of Representatives Hopeful for Ibadan North East and South East Federal Constituency, Hon. ‘Jide Adeyemi will, on Wednesday 23rd June 2021, organize a special Eye screening program for residents and indigenes of Ibadan Northeast and Southeast local governments in an unusual display of altruistic excellence and commitment to human development”, ‘Jide Adeyemi’ Foundation’s Media Office revealed.
“The program sponsored by ‘Jide Adeyemi Foundation will be implemented in partnership with the Community Eye Outreach Unit, University College Hospital UCH, Ibadan. And it will provide comprehensive eye examinations, eye drops, medicines, medicated eyeglasses and surgeries free for cases requiring such.
“It will also include community health education focusing on eye health and general health promotion.
Explaining his motivation for this action, ‘Jide Adeyemi, CEO/Chief Brand Strategist, Big and Bold Communications Limited, opined that the importance of good sight to rational human makeup could not be overemphasized. “With the growing trend of several severe eye-related diseases plaguing the people, an effort must be hurriedly initiated to address this problem whenever possible”, he reiterated.
‘Jide Adeyemi stated that the human eyes are their contacts to the environment and a means by which almost 80% of our impressions are perceived. “As such, without a functioning sight, life is not complete because the eyes are windows of the soul.
Speaking further, the Brand Strategist, Adeyemi noted that people often disregard the eye as a unique part of the body requiring huge attention and regular screening until they are plagued with bad sight. “This explained why special eye orientation would be conducted in addition to the free screening, free treatment and free surgery already highlighted for the program”, he maintained.
“The program highpoint, however, will be the distribution of over 500 pieces of multi-focal and medicated eyeglasses with varying lens capacity. At the same time, about 20 cases requiring immediate surgery will also be promptly attended to”, Adeyemi revealed.
