Community Development: Excitement As Ibadan North Federal Rep, Prince Akinremi Jagaban Commissions Fully Energized Transformer At Yemetu Kanmbi-Igosun Community
The member representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. (Prince) Olaide Akinremi, popularly known as Jagaban, has in his characteristic way facilitated the provision and energising of transformer for Yemetu Kanmbi/Igosun community within the Ibadan North Federal Constituency.
This commissioning event, which took place on Sunday, June 2, 2024, at the site of the energised transformer within the community, was witnessed by Ibadan North APC Apex Leaders, Local Government Executives, Ward Executives, Ward Leaders, and party members, alongside Yemetu Kanmbi Community Leaders and Residents.
Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ibadan North Local Government, Alhaji Taofeek Olayiwola, while giving his address, eulogised and appreciated Hon. Olaide Akinremi for being a pathfinder and outstanding representative as far as the history of Ibadan North Federal Constituency is concerned, considering his landmark efforts and impacts since he assumed office. He also noted that Jagaban is an exemplary representative, even amongst his colleagues.
Alhaji Wasiu Emiola and Mrs. Olajumoke Akerele, who are members of the Ibadan North APC Apex Leaders, also spoke glowingly about the impacts of Prince Akinremi Jagaban across different communities and encouraged the community to take adequate care of the fully energised 500KVA transformer facilitated by Hon. Olaide Akinremi for the benefit of their community.
Chairman of the Yemetu Kanmbi/Igosun community, Engr. Bello Kazeem, while speaking on behalf of the entire community, expressed gratitude to Hon. Olaide Akinremi Jagaban for his continuous impacts in their community, citing the provision of streetlights, a maternity centre, and other developmental projects in and around their community that were facilitated by Jagaban.
Engr. Bello Kazeem stated that Prince Akinremi Jagaban is an entirely different breed of politician, as he is always responsive to the needs of his people, and this latest provision and energising of transformers is another important piece of evidence of Jagaban’s solid performance in office. He then assured everyone present of the community’s commitment to protecting the transformer from theft and vandals.
This recent provision of transformer at Yemetu Kanmbi/Igosun community added to the continuously growing list of transformers facilitated by Prince Akinremi Jagaban for his constituents, and at every point, he has also ensured that energising is done for each transformer he facilitates.
Among the APC Apex Leaders also present were Hon. Akeem Adebiyi, Chief (Mrs.) Wemimo Beckley, Dr. Gafar Olaide, Hon. Bamidele Ogunleye, and Hon. Gaphar Ojetola.
