COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT: Ibadan North Communities Set For More Projects As Prince Akinremi Jagaban Commissions Lock-Up Shops, Provides Additional Boreholes, Classrooms, Transformers, Roles Out Another Batch of Over 1100 Solar Streetlight Units.
Member, House of Representatives representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Honourable (Prince) Olaide Akinremi popularly referred to as Jagaban had earlier this week commissioned lock-up shops for traders at Abadina Community inside the University of Ibadan.
This is in addition to the numerous number of projects he has facilitated so far, which includes, road rehabilitation works, health centres, maternity centres, blocks of classrooms, skill acquisition centre, modern town hall, boreholes, solar streetlights, alongside provision of gainful employment to graduates, scholarship to indigent students, health care programmes and several trainings and empowerment programmes.
Hon. Olaide Akinremi not relenting on his efforts so far has also recently facilitated additional impressive units of boreholes, transformers, classrooms and over 1100 solar streetlights for the benefit of his constituents across all communities in Ibadan North Federal Constituency.
This latest batch of community focused projects are as a result of the people’s request. And in line with Hon. Olaide Akinremi’s promise to continually attend to the needs of his people, he has once again committed serious effort in ensuring these projects are provided for the benefit of various communities in Ibadan North Federal Constituency.
Prince Akinremi Jagaban in a meeting with stakeholders last weekend stated that he will continue to give his best in representing the people of Ibadan North as evident in his contributions to various communities with the provision of boreholes, classrooms, transformers, streetlights and other projects of impacts since he secured the people’s mandate in 2019.
He went further to explain that due to multiple complaints of insecurity, especially with thefts and attacks been perpetrated at dark spots in some communities by rogues, he decided to place important focus on providing solar streetlights since 2019, with major roads and markets also considered, and these streetlights have now been of great security help to the people of Ibadan North Federal Constituency.
Lastly, work has commenced on these recent drilling of boreholes, installation of transformers, construction of classrooms, as well as the distribution and installation of this latest batch of over 1100 streetlights to communities across Ibadan North Federal Constituency, while the lock-up shops at Abadina community inside the University of Ibadan have been put to immediate use.
